I went around the vegetable garden over the weekend and took some photos of how the general garden is progressing.  I plan on doing this at the beginning of each month to document overall progress:

Planted blueberry bushes I took advantage of a quiet weekend to go in and plant a couple of blueberry bushes I had ordered from Gurneys (Brigitta and Bluecrop varieties). Brigitta was the only one that I cold find that is listed as being more tolerant of partial shade. I ordered the raised beds...

Weekend tree limb damage and "brrrr" its cold! So over the weekend we had some wicked winds that came through. Saturday afternoon we heard a "crack" and "thud" as a large limb came down from the trees near the garden. Couldn't have asked for a better "landing zone" for the limb to fall though...right in between new blueberry...
